AGELESS CREATIVITY The art of Phyllis Carlin, Ed Hoffner, Mel Holston & Bohuslava Reiss AT THE 1789 ARTS CENTER IN MAPLEWOODMay 7 through May 29, 2001
Artists Phyllis Carlin, Ed Hoffner, Mel Holston and Bohuslava Reiss have their say in their own way in this group show titled Ageless Creativity. This exhibit focuses on artists, “in a certain age group”, whose continued art output illustrates that their passion to create has not diminished over the years. Instead, they grow in their pursuit of new modes of expression.
The inevitable encounters with a diverse multitude of human interactions are reflected in their portrayal of individuals who have peopled their existence and/ or their responses to the human experience.
Ageless Creativity will remain on view from May 7 (closed Mother’s Day, May 8) – May 29, 2011.
