Five Full Fellowships and Ten Half-Fellowships Offered!

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and the Vermont Studio Center (VSC) are pleased to announce the ninth annual Full Fellowship Competition for New Jersey artists and writers.    Five residency awards for visual artists and writers are available, for which all New Jersey artists and Writers are eligible.  In addition, VSC will provide half-fellowships to ten runners-up.

Each VSC/Dodge Foundation award provides a month-long residency at the Vermont Studio Center.    An international creative community, the VSC is located in the heart of the scenic Green Mountains of Northern Vermont.

A studio Center Residency includes:

Uninterrupted working time in a private studio

Access to the counsel of sic Distinguished Visiting Artists (2 painter/2 sculptors/2 writers) per month

Three meals a day

Comfortable, private accommodations

The companionship of talented peers from around the world.

The Residency Period:  any month between January 2008 and June 2008, depending on availability.  New Jersey teachers who apply and are awarded a fellowship may schedule their residency for the summer months.

Deadline for receiving applications:  October 1, 2007

Notification of results:  December 1, 2007
