Biography continued…
During all of the years Lynch had been painting and not exhibiting, he had an interior decorating business that has done projects from wallpapering the inside of a doghouse to building a Plexiglas stage for a Broadway show. Examples of his decorating work have appeared in Cosmopolitan, Inside NY Design, The Laura Ashley Book of Interior Design, Newsweek and New Jersey Monthly.
Thom Lynch still owns and operates his Art & Interior Design business which specializes in faux finishes and murals.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Paintings grow and as they grow they gain their own power to tell their story. Sometimes when I’m painting, the canvas becomes similar to a movie screen and I get caught-up in the story as it develops.
