EDUCATION & CAREER

 

Tomaszewski has a Masters of Art in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.  He studied architecture at Warsaw Polytechnic.  For ten years he was Senior Designer at the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw.  From 1967 to 1993, he served as Professor, Design Department at the University of Bridgeport, in Connecticut.

 

COLLECTIONS

 

Tomaszewski's sculptures are held in private, corporate & museum collections around the world.  Just some of his collectors are: 

Museum NECCA, CT; Silesian Museum, Poland; Gliwice Museum, Poland; Halle Museum, Germany; Philco Corporation; United Surgical Corporation; Lawrence Rockefeller; Hugh Downs, Roger Grimsby, Ellen Berstyn . . .
