| Frank Pietrucha is a versatile artist. His watercolors range from stark Realism (portraits of historic architecture) to Impressionistic landscapes and on to total Abstractions. Pietrucha’s Impressionistic and Abstract watercolors are known for their vibrant jewel-tones. His paper curvilinear sculptures bring his Abstracts into the 3rd dimension. He transforms flat sheets of paper into seemingly endless, roller-coaster forms which are at once graceful and bold. He has also been known to create wild mixed-media constructions that belie his wonderfully whimsical sense of humor. In all of these Frank’s eye for good design is always obvious. At the core Frank Pietrucha is a very serious artist. DEB |
